English Skills

Starting Mondays 19th April 2010 from 1.00pm - 3.00pm

This course is for anyone that wishes to improve their English Skills and work towards gaining a qualification.

The English course will cover:

• Punctuation
• Grammar
• Formal and informal writing, e.g. emails, letters, forms or reports.
• Help with your spelling
• Work towards a GCSE qualification either Level 1 (Grades D-G of a GCSE) or Level 2 (Grades A-C of a GCSE)

Work at your own pace and level and when you feel confident enough then you are able sit an exam.

The cost of this course is FREE.

Maths Skills

Starting Wednesdays 21st April from 1.00pm - 3.00pm.  

This course is for anyone that wishes to improve their skills and knowledge of everyday maths skills.

This Maths course will cover:

• Using a calculator
• Fractions
• Percentages
• Everyday budgeting
• Graphs and charts
• Measures and problem solving.
